In a bizarre collaboration that breaks usual forecasts, the game developer has revealed an digital partnership between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the renowned anime series Attack on Titan. The unexpected holiday event continues from November 25 through December 22, offering complimentary bonus story content for Shadows players.

Mysterious Mission Uncovered

According to the official announcement, "An unusual encounter pulls heroes Naoe and Yasuke into a fresh adventure, where hints of forbidden ceremonies and terrifying metamorphoses echo through the darkness." The storyline features a "strangely dressed woman named Ada" who tasks the characters with traveling into the Crystal Cave—a key location from Attack on Titan—to liberate her companion from a clandestine sect.

The adventure concentrates on "strange trials and a terrifying enemy" and is available to all players who have gained access to the Yasuke character.

Iconic Locations and Changes

The trailer highlights the Subterranean Sanctuary from Attack on Titan reimagined as the Crystal Cave. This important location was formerly where the Reiss royal family handed down the Founding Titan ability through generations. The preview finishes with a dramatic moment showing a character, probably the prisoner, transforming into a Titan that looms over Naoe and Yasuke.
